Gingerbread Cookies
Ingredients:
1 cup packed brown sugar2tsp. baking soda
1/3 cup oil
12 oz. (1 bottle) molasses
2/3 cup water
1 tsp. each:
Salt Ginger Cloves
Allspice Cinnamon
Directions:
6 cup Gold Medal flour (Avery note: I have no idea what Gold
Medal Flour is, but I'm guessing you can just use some good ol fashioned All
Purpose)
Mix all ingredients together well. Shape into a ball, wrap
in plastic wrap, refrigerate at least 2 hours. Roll dough 1/4”-1/2” thick, use
shape cookie cutters. Place on lightly greased cookie sheet and bake 350
degrees for 10-12 minutes. Cool and decorate as you please. If using raisins or
red hots, put on dough before cooking.
If using dough to make gingerbread house, press dough into
cookie sheet and bake before cutting out shapes/walls.
