My how time flies! We are on Day Nine of the 13 Days of Christmas Giveaways! And today, we have a real treat for you, Author J. F. Jenkins, and she’s got double prizes for today.
We are going to showcase, two, TWO of J. F. Jenkins books, which means one lucky person is going to win Two great novels... but that’s not all, she’s also adding both books into the rather plump Grand Prize Giveaway Pot!
So, I’m not going to waste any more time, instead getting right into the introductions!
First up we have The Dragon’s Saga: Legend of the Oceina Dragon
Darien Oceina is the youngest son of the Great Dragon Lord of the Water. For years he¹s loved and cherished Tai Dawson from afar. Tai is a simple, ordinary girl who doesn¹t even know Darien exists. On his eighteenth birthday, he chooses her as his wife. But there’s one problem: She thinks his choice means she¹s going to be offered as a sacrifice to the Dragon Lord, but instead, she’s forced to move to his home, far away, to give up her life and be his bride.
When she first sees Darien after the ceremony, she doesn’t expect to feel anything but hatred toward him. The two are struggling with the complications of a new marriage when their nation is attacked by a rival dragon species. Together they learn to love one another while they struggle to stay one step ahead in a game where the prize is their survival.
That’s a premise that I think will grab anyone’s attention. I know it grabbed mine. J.F. Jenkins was also kind enough to answer a few questions about The Dragon’s Saga too but we will get to those after I introduce you to the second novel.
You can purchase The Dragon’s Saga: Legend of the Oceina Dragon directly from Astraea Press, or you can go to Amazon, Smashwords or Barnes & Noble... Of course, you can also just wait and see if you win a copy too. You’re Choice.
Now this next novel has awesome written all over it! It’s J. F. Jenkins Vala: Agendas
Cheyenne Loveless was just a boring sixteen-year-old girl. Then Denver Collins bit her and everything changed. Her plants start talking to her, she finds out she’s a Nymph, and a witch and the angel of death shows up at her doorstep to take her away to the prestigious Vala School and Seminary. Oh, and she has no choice in the matter.
All she wants to do is blend in and return to being invisible, but the more time that passes, the harder that becomes. Plus she’s a daughter of the Divine, an exclusive secret society which rules the world of myth, and discovers she is a key ingredient to an ancient covenant created before she was born. A covenant that will reshape the order of the world.
Adjusting to a new school is difficult enough, but adding on everyone else’s hidden agendas is the icing on the cake. Cheyenne must learn to see through the lies in order to find her place — and possibly even love — in this new world.
If you’re going to go out and buy The Dragon’s Saga, well you might as well buy Vala: Agendas too! You can pick this baby up straight from Astraea Press too, or check it out here on Amazon, or Barnes & Noble. Or well, as I said above, you can just wait until Christmas to see if you’ve won!
Now, J. F. Jenkins was kind enough to stick around and answer a few questions about both these great novels!
What would be the main theme song for your novel?
Legend: “Come Alive” by Gavin Mikhail
Agendas: “I'm With You” Avril Lavigne
Can you come up with a one sentence super awesome tag line?
Legend: A girl, a dragon, their love.
Agendas: The daughter of a goddess, the whole world changes the night he bit her.
If you had to choose movie stars to play your main characters who would they be?
Legend:
Darien would be played by Landon Liboiron
Tai would be played by Lucy Hale
Agendas:
Cheyenne would be played by Alexis Bledell
Denver would be played by Shia LaBeouf
Anj/Zes by Kendall Schmidt
If you remember, what were you doing when the ideas for Dragon's Saga and Agendas suddenly hit?
The answer for both of these novels is: I was sleeping. Both of them came in dreams!
I think lots of Authors can say some of the best scenes, novel idea’s and dialogue came from something that happened in a dream! It’s an excellent source of inspiration!
You can find J. F. Jenkins, and learn even more about these two great novels at her blog, Facebook, or follow her on Twitter!
Thanks so much J. F. For stopping by and letting us learn about these novels, they both sound great, it’s a good thing my Kindle has room for both and I don’t have to choose!

A nymph for a main character is a new one for me. The world building for such a character sounds intriguing.
