A huge thank you goes to Charity for passing this award on to me! Thanks so much!!
Now, the way the award works is this: you copy the above award picture into a post and link back to the person who gave you the award. You then must either answer ten random questions or give seven random facts about yourself. Then spread the award along to ten other bloggers by tagging them!
So I am going to answer ten random questions.
1. Pantser or Plotter?
I’m a pantser for sure! I hardly write anything done, I just type by the seat of my pants.2. Do you listen to music while writing?
I sure do! Though I have an iPhone with only about 70 songs on it, and well, I hear the same ones over and over again! But I do have them broken up into playlists depending on what kind of mood I’m in.
3. What genre do you write in?
Young Adult Paranormal 4. Books on writing you recommend?
Wow, totally creepy question since UPS brought me a present not more than a few days ago... it was... a book on Writing!! I’ve just stared reading it but, my god, it’s amazing: Grammar Girl’s Quick and Dirty Tips for BetterWriting. I seriously have been wondering where this book has been all my life. 5. Which are your favorite authors?
I can’t disclose. I’ve got too many it would be mean to single out just a few. 6. How long have you been writing?
About 5 years for novels, and almost my whole life for poetry, though I don’t write it anymore.7. What is your favorite part of the writing process?
The first draft. I’m a pantser so it tends to go fairly fast sometimes, I just sit down and write and see what kind of ride my characters take me on. It’s the editing that kills me. 8. How do you capture ideas when you are on the go?
I usually have a notebook with me, if not I use my iPhone note pad.9. How do you handle bad reviews?
So far, I’ve been lucky enough that I haven’t received any really bad ones. But my first three star stung. But I sucked it up, and remember that I cannot please everyone. 10. Worst writing mistake you make:
I’d have to say it’s the comma, or the apostrophe. Sometimes I just have no idea where that the little buggers need to be.
Who am I going to nominate for this award? This is so hard!!!
