Getting Out There: The Blog Hop

So, I’m not ashamed to admit that I am still a total newb when it comes to promoting online. Hell, I’m still a newb when it comes to blogging, and all social media.
However, I have recently been digging to find out some of the best ways to promote yourself as an Author, as well as spreading the love to other Authors, and of course, let’s not forget the readers! Cause they are super important, you know J
Now, one of the ways I’ve discovered is the Blog Hop. There seems to be many different forms of it out there. I came across this one by chance on Facebook.  The Autumn Harvest: Fall Between the Pages Blog Hop Tour.
There are others out there, you just need to search them out and get involved. Even though my book isn’t quite ready for blog hopping, and I’m not on the tour, I am taking the time to participate. I’m hopping to each blog on the tour, leaving comments and making new friends. And the biggest fun about a blog hop? Contests! Each of the blogs in this particular blog hop are giving away something to lucky commenter’s, whether it be free books, free swag and the like.
I think this is a great way to get out there, get noticed and have fun. And I can’t wait to be a part of a blog hop in the future, it looks like so much fun!

So please, go out and support these talented authors, and enter to win free stuff! Maybe make a friend or two, or three and enjoy the experience of getting out there!

I'm taking part in a Halloween blog hop called Zompacolypse next month. If you are curious to hear more about it, click here. I'll have to check that one out, too. :)

I'm so sorry, I've been visiting your blog but I kept going to the same page and thought you hadn't been blogging. Okay, I've fixed it now. :) I've just set up, or am setting up, my first blog tour. It has been exciting and frustrating all at the same time. Good luck!
