Book Review: Unbreakable Love by Angela Carling

I feel terrible, I’m so late to posting this. Though I’ve already shared my review on Goodreads, Amazon, and the like I figured I’d better share it with my blog followers!
Unbreakable Love is the debut novel of Author Angela Carling, and I was lucky enough to snag a copy!  Here’s the cover and Blurb! Below the review J

Jennie Townsend is unlucky in love, so she is immediately suspicious when a mysterious new student named Nate tries to gain her friendship. But there is something special about Nate, and in spite of her best efforts Jennie finds her feelings for the boy growing deeper every day.
In fact, Nate is more special than Jennie can even imagine. He is a guardian angel, sent to protect Jennie during a most dangerous time in her life. To do so, he must first become close to her - but not too close. The rules for Protectors warn against physical contact and strictly forbid falling in love. But the more time Nate spends with Jennie, the harder the rules are to follow. Will Nate be able to save Jennie from a premature end, or will his own emotions - and Jennie's - get in the way of completing the task for which he was specifically chosen?
With Unbreakable Love, Angela Carling has created a captivating story for young adult readers, with a refreshing twist on relationship issues. It is an ode to the magical power of true love, a tribute to belief in a benevolent higher power that watches over us and surrounds us every day of our lives.—Quoted from Goodreads

This has got to be one of the super cutest books I’ve read in awhile. The characters are great, though, the story line isn’t as unique as I would have liked it to be, Mrs. Carling does a great job in writing a novel with Angels in it.
Angels have swept across the world, becoming a very popular storyline vice, but even though it’s something that is over worked, Mrs. Carling still manages to put a nice twist on it.
Jennie finds herself with a guardian angel when she meets Nate—Only she doesn’t know it. Right away there are sparks flying and you can see just how heart-warming their romance is going to be—Of course if Nate allows himself to indulge.
A few things were a little unclear in the beginning and since this is a short read, the pacing was lightening fast in some places, however, all the strings are tied up in the end leaving you quite satisfied.
If this debut novel is the type of writing we can see from Mrs. Carling in the future, I can bet she’s going to make a name for herself with great novels and fun writing.

You can purchase Unbreakable Love through Amazon, Barnes & Noble and The Book Depository. It's also available in both paperback and e-book formats!
